I should have killed him. I don't know why I didn't. I don't know what in the world possessed me to marry anyone at all, let alone him. Do you know him? Have you met him? He's almost as arrogant as your Lucius. I couldn't stand him when we were young and I can stand him far less now. I can't imagine a single thing he would do to make me want to marry him. Unless it was an order Tom gave me, but I can't imagine that either. This is just ridiculous and I refuse to have any part of it now that I have no reason to.
